First up was Newtown High swimming – Newtown’s Maddie Marcisz keeps her form despite losing her goggles while competing in the 200 meter medley relay.
Then football in Trumbull – Wilton’s Charles Calabrese dives across the goal line to score in the first quarter against Trumbull Friday night.
Calabrese scored four touchdowns to lead the Warriors to a 35-12 victory.
Saturday morning started with girls volleyball in Fairfield – Fairfield Ludlowe’s Sidney Ogilvie tips over a winner during the Falcons’ 3-1 match play victory over New Canaan.
Finally, Greenwich’s Hector Lopez takes off for a long touchdown in the fourth quarter of the Cardinals’ 27-18 win over Norwalk on Saturday.
