Commander Mode is one of the cool things with the D90 – I can use any combination of SB-600, SB-800 and/or SB-900 flashes, and control them wirelessly in my camera through the popup camera flash.
Here is just a simple set up – SB-600 held to the left, set to 1/2 TTL through the camera, and the popup camera flash set to 1/4 TTL. This is a very basic set up, but I have to make the time to play with this some more…
