During this time of forced non-shooting, I have had the time to go through my archives.
Sometimes the best images are not what you set out to shoot, but the ones that simply appear. I was at Gulf Beach with a meetup group hosted by Milford Photo – we were there to photograph the seagulls. After everyone had packed up, and only a couple of us were left, the sky started to change. It turned into this bright red sky for only a few moments. I went with another photographer to find something to put in the foreground, and found these teens sitting atop the lifeguard stand.
What follows is basically straight out of camera, Shot with a Nikon D600, and Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6 VR lens.
