Saturday was a fun day – 3 championship games in 2 arenas all in one day.
First, Fairfield Prep beat Darien 2-1 in OT to win the CIAC Division I state championship at Yale’s Ingalls Rink:
Then it was up to Mohegan Sun – first, Lauralton Hall defeated South Windsor for their first-ever Class LL State championship:
Then it was Bridgeport Central against Fairfield Prep for the Class LL boys title.
Paschal Chukwu ended the first half with a dunk on an in-bounds alley-oop to put Prep up by 18:
Then Central came storming back, and upset the previously unbeaten Prep, 76-73.
