Zach Tripodi rushed for 219 yards and scored four touchdowns on Friday night, pacing the once-beaten New Fairfield High football team to a 41-14 win over Bunnell in a South-West Conference game played at Bulldog Stadium.
Tripodi scored on runs of 32, 15 and 14 yards in the first half as the Rebels, now 6-1, built up a 19-7. Tripodi’s 15-yard TD at 5:46 of the third quarter put him over the 200-yard mark and gave New Fairfield a 25-7 lead.
