It’s not every day that you have a 62-44 score at any level, especially high school. Derby jumped out to a 28-12 lead at the end of the first quarter, and outlasted Seymour in a slugfest that had both defensive units gasping for air. Derby improved to 6-1 on the season, and Seymour fell to 4-3.
