My good friend Phil Hovey, also a talented photographer, is also the best barber I have had. One day, in a fit of inspiration, I brought my gear, and some lights, and decided to have a little fun. Phil was down with having a shoot, and I think the result speaks for itself.
I used three lights – A Flashpoint AD600 modified with a 36″ Gridded collapsible beauty dish as Key light;
Flashpoint AD200 with a blue gel, Magmod MagSphere and MagGrid at camera right;
Flashpoint AD200 with a Magmod MagSphere outside of the shop to illuminate the shop sign.
