Jessica At Southford Falls

June 15, 2020 By David Whitham

Shooting with the Nikon D850 doesn’t come without its challenges.  With its 45MP sensor, any fault with technique is magnified.  Add in trying to photograph a model while using a slow shutter speed in order to drag the flowing water while handheld is a recipe for disaster.  Here comes the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8E lens to the rescue, allowing me to handhold this at 1/15 of a second.

A portrait of Jessica at Southford Falls.
