Monday night was the first round of the Merit Insurance Holiday Tournament hosted by Stratford High School. In the first game, St. Joseph High school lost to New London High, 57-53.
In the second game, Stratford High’s boys basketball team defeated Kaynor Tech from Waterbury, 47-37.
