Technology is amazing. Despite having written code for over 30 years, I still feel like I never lost the wow factor when it came to new technology. Although I love my Nikon D5, I never felt the same love for my D850. With this in mind, I took the jump and ordered Nikon’s newest mirrorless entry, the Z 7ii through Nikon Professional Services. It was delivered a couple of weeks ago, and I’m still putting it through its paces.
A few days after delivery, I had a shoot scheduled with the talented Amanda, owner of her own dance studio, and an accomplished model in her own right. Shot using the Z 7ii and the new Nikkor Z 85mm f/1.8S lens, we had a fun Christmas-themed shoot.
File sizes are eye-opening – ranging from 80 to 85MB each, but the files are incredibly sharp.
