Norwalk vs. Westhill – CIAC Class LL Baseball Final

It was said that rankings meant little this year in the Class LL CIAC State Tournament. This was born out as 19th ranked Westhill High Vikings faced the 24th-seeded Norwalk High Bears for the CIAC Class LL title at Palmer Field this past Saturday. After a tight, well-played 6 innings, the Bears’ Konstantinos Kodonas stroked a game-winning pinch hit RBI single in the top of the seventh inning to give Norwalk a 1-0 victory for their first state title.
