This is my daughter’s 10th year in dance, and to mark the occasion, we decided to put in a picture ad in her dance school’s recital program.
I wanted to do something different, and I saw a shot by Ryan Brenizer, that basically rendered day into night, where he overpowered the sun with two SB-900 flashes.
Strobist info: one SB-600 set at 1/1 power at camera left . 1/1600 @ f/16.
With the exception of some cropping and applying USM, this is how it came out in camera.
